ASAME Technology Announces New 8mm Target Cube
An 8mm size target cube has been made to enable accurate
measurement of grid sizes between 0.5mm and 1mm. Click here
to see sample measurement results on an undeformed printed square
grid pattern (grid size = 1mm).

distribution over an area of a stamped part that has been gridded
with a pattern of squares. A compact system requiring only lightweight
and readily portable equipment to make surface strain and geometry
measurements.

2D ModelMeasures in-plane strain distribution, in
real-time, over a deforming flat sample, such as a tensile specimen,
that has been gridded with a pattern of squares. The USB high-resolution
camera and the USB data acquisition board make this system lightweight

Display SoftwareThe ASAME Display Software uses the same core program as our strain measurement systems to show major strain, minor strain, strain directions, and three-dimensional part geometry. It can graph forming limit diagrams and section plots, calculate thickness and effective strain, and import and export all data in a variety of formats.
